Why We Look Forward To Weekends

As the weekend comes to a close, I have to wonder... Why do we look forward to the weekend.... Besides the usual things like... not having to get up in the morning.... not having to prepare a lunch, not having to get dressed until you wants too..... well they are all obvious reasons and really go without saying..... But i have realized that we look forward to the weekends because we don't have to Work..... plan and simple... we don't have to sit behind a desk ( or whatever your job requires you to do) for 8 to 12 hours a day and put up with the things that our jobs require us to put up with. What ever that might be, Which in any job could be a number of things.
But now for the next thing i was pondering............ If you look forward to the weekends so much so that, that's what u think about and wish for all week long, Should you then think about finding another job? Is the reason that you wish for the weekend because you hate your job so much that u can't wait to have a day off......... or is it because you just enjoy weekend.... or maybe even because you enjoy your job but just needs a break to clear your head after busy week, which is just normal.
I guess we just need to take the time to evaluate Our jobs and Ourselves........ Then decide our reason for wishing for the weekend. If it's because you hate your job...... then maybe it is time to move on..... there is no reason to stay somewhere u are not happy..... there is more to Life.
If it is just because you like weekends well then....... enjoy your weekend but don't just give up on the weekdays.
If it's because you are so busy at work u just look forward to a day off then........ I guess you should stay right where you are.......... unless it is taking a tole on you and you have done what you can and need to move on. I'm guessing this one is the hardest one to make a choice on. No one wants to leave somewhere they enjoy working...... cuz those kinds of jobs are hard to find... But sometimes you just need to move on for yourself and to keep your sanity...
Whatever your reason for Looking forward to the weekend is make sure when it does come that you enjoy every last minute of it and leave Work behind. Anyway got to go to bed and get some sleep because i have to get up for work in the morning.
